There is big news for the candidates who have given RRB NTPC 2021 exam. Actually, Railway Recruitment Board has issued an official notification regarding the examination fee refund. The candidates who appeared in the First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) conducted in seven phases from 28 December 2020 to 31 July 2021 will be entitled to get their examination fee refund (scheduled) after deduction of applicable banking/service charges. Rs.250 for SC/ST/ExSM/PWBD/Women/Minority/EBC/Transgender candidates and Rs.400 for others).
Apply for refund of examination fee from today
Railway Recruitment Board has started the process of application for refund of prescribed fees for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) Examination 2021 from 11 August 2021 i.e. today. RRB has also activated the link on the website of various zones to apply for refund of examination fee. Candidates can apply for refund of examination fee through this link. The last date to apply for fee refund is 31 August 2021.
These details have to be given for refund
Candidates will have to provide their account details and IFSC code for refund of examination fee. It is to be noted that the candidates who have received the admit card but have not appeared for the examination are not eligible to apply for the refund.
How to submit bank details for refund
First of all go to the official website rrbcdg.gov.in.
On the homepage, click on the link to submit bank account details.
On the new window, enter your roll number, date of birth, registered mobile number and captcha code.
Click on Login Button
On the new page, enter your name, account number, branch IFSC code.
Now click on submit
NOTE: Make sure to cross check before submitting the bank account details.
Candidates are advised to cross check their given details like Bank Account Number, Name and IFSC Code once before submitting the same for refund of examination fee. Because once submitted the bank account details cannot be edited. If a candidate fails to submit the bank account details, he/she will not be refunded.
